If there’s one thing to be said about Dell’s chief technology officer, Kevin Kettler, it’s this: The man knows how to set an example. It’s been nary a week since an econalypse-brutalized Dell began offering workers voluntary separation plans, and Kettler is apparently leading the charge to take the company up on it. He plans to leave the computer maker in January.
John Paczkowski has been poking fun at the tech industry and the personalities that drive it since 1997. From 1999 to 2007, he wrote the award-winning tech news Web log Good Morning Silicon Valley for the San Jose Mercury News, Silicon Valley's daily newspaper.
