Nearly half the size of its predecessor, this third-generation player features a new aluminum design and a new VoiceOver feature that enables it to say the names of song titles, artists and playlists outloud in 14 languages.

Apple: A Ship That Leaks From the Top?

Beyond the technology on display at Tuesday’s Apple event, what was perhaps most interesting was the accuracy with which it had been predicted. Astonishing really, given Apple’s near-monomaniacal secrecy.
