RIM Resolves BlackBerry Email Issue

Research In Motion (RIMM) has identified and corrected the issue that interrupted email service for some BlackBerry customers in North America this morning.

“Some customers may still experience delays as email queues are processed,” the company said in a statement. “RIM is continuing to investigate the cause of the issue and apologizes for any inconvenience.”

The company has not yet explained what caused the outage.
