Psystar could have done their own Linux with Mac-like integrated hardware, or they could have done their own system based on Linux and WebKit (like Google Chrome OS) or Darwin and WebKit. Compare how Google builds on Apple, by using a lot of open source Apple code (Chrome OS has a lot of Apple code in it) and how Psystar built on Apple, by stealing the rest that isn't open source. The truly ridiculous thing about Psystar is that 2010-2020 looks to be the best decade for new computing devices and platforms since the 1980′s.
