		<description>Many, including myself, have written Microsoft off.  However, this move coupled with their direction from the jellyfish acquistion (cashback) could provide them a leg up.  As Google goes down &quot;build paths&quot; like SideWiki, a window of opportunity could be created.

In my 10 years of working with Microsoft, I never saw a pure partnership of this nature in a space they quazi competed in.  This is a good thing for all.  On the flip side, they have a long trail of carnage in previous partnerships: 3Com, IBM, Sybase, Citrix, . . .</description>
