The 13-inch MacBook Pro is a perfect "1.0" unit to measure other computers by. It has 1 of every modern feature and it runs all the operating systems. The total cost of ownership is often the same as the retail price because it is so user-maintainable and also there are free Apple Geniuses.

If the 13-inch MacBook Pro is not for you, you ought to be able to clearly articulate why you bought something else. And that should not be "I'm not cool enough for a Mac," that is perhaps the stupidest thing ever uttered by Microsoft and that's saying something.
