Lines form in Tokyo on June 18th? Today is 24 June in Tokyo and the phone is still not here in Japan. it comes out on June 26th here, and I suspect sales will not be that strong. Smart phones just dont appeal to people here (the first ones came out less than 2 years ago). We will never get tethering here, at any cost. This is the price we pay for being techies in a technologically stagnant country like Japan. Please give up your notions of Japan being way ahead. The networks here are very good, and thats it. The handsets and software are all extremely backward, character based and people have no interest in web connectivity while out and about.
