I've never liked AT&T due to coverage (more bars in more places - yeah, right), but figured, ah, heck they all have lousy coverage. But when I got the iPhone, I KNEW FOR SURE that AT&T stunk. Hopefully, by the time this contract expires and I want some newfangled iPhone, I can get it with Verizon. AT&T is the only thing I don't like about my iPhone. The 3.0 update is a modified version of OS X for the iPhone. It's the operating system in the iPhone that is being updated. Firmware would be a separate update. That might happen as well.
