It all depends on the apps your using. Running 3-4 at a time is the most that you need anyway. You CAN still do it though. I love being able to stream music and do e-mail or text.

Actually, you can’t do all those things at the same time and get decent performance from a Pre. The thing bogs down if you have more than two or three apps going at a time. It’s the reason Apple has chosen not to do it thus far.

It will be interesting to see how Apple and Palm duke it out over the next few years as they try to one-up each other. These two phones are so far ahead of the others. The pre because its DNA is based in part on the design philosophy it shares with Apple.

Good luck Palm, make Apple do more!

Let’s think about this… I can stream music, IM, text, surf, tweet, e-mail and on and on all at pretty much the same time. The keyboard makes typing faster because I can use 2 fingers. Try that with the iphone. True, the iphone started things,(I don’t think anyone will debate that) but the pre just made things better. By the way, the main developer for the pre was also one of the iphone developers with apple. Can’t wait to see more apps. This thing rocks!!!!
