Motherboard manufacturers say you can use 2000MHz DDR3 memory (oops, only one stick at a time), game titles say you can run the game with a $50 video card (oops, only at 10 FPS)....even hard drives say they give you 1TB when all you get is 930GB. Its all about making the biggest claims possible. Certainly we'd all like that to change, and of course Microsoft is the first one to go after – they have the most money, right? Bottom line is consumers should be suspicious of all certifications and marketing claims, unfortunately. Anyone that was reasonably informed about Windows Vista because purchasing knew what kind of video hardware was needed.
