Economic recession in the world has set no country stabilize on economic fronts. All the major organization is being affected by this recession. HP has cut short its expenses to stay taller than the competitors until the recovery is expected to occur in year 2012. This is their step towards a better tomorrow.

Here’s the math.

Hurd base salary was 1.45 mil. His total compensation was 42.5 mil.

20% of his base is 290k. 290K is less than 1% of his total compensation (0.68% to be exact).
