I would have thought my “!” would be enough for the humor impaired.

Serious answer is that Safari comes bundled with OS X, but OS X won’t stop working if you erase it. Firefox is easily available from link on Apple web sites, and at no point does any Apple software or web page fail to work if you are not running Safari.
