I think Palm has a terrific opportunity and would not count them out. Other than the iPhone and the potential of Android there’s no compelling new OS on the horizon. And other than the iPhone there’s a scarcity of exceptional new phones. So if Palm can excel at both they’ll be in a great position.

Who is going to buy a Palm device when:
1. All the cool kids have an iPhone?
2. All the business guys have a Crackberry?
3. All the open-source freaks have a Droid?
4. Microsoft wants to crush everyone.
