I just tried LiveSearch and immediately found a show stopper for me.
Google allows me to see 100 results at a time whilst LiveSearch only allows a maximum of 50.
Goodbye.

Also, LiveSearch is not one of the default search engine options in Firefox. You have to manually install it. How many people are going to do that?
Zero.
