I also expected to find the reference to Adblock and nada. It's all a red herring, I suspect. The behavioral targeting is mostly done using web beacons that ad blockers don't block. Then there's the cross-site scripting where data is shared between marketing partners. Then there's the partner networks that send malware and key-loggers to unsuspecting customers computers. I encourage all to write to their congressmen asking them to support an "opt-in" ONLY policy for tracking Internet surfing. Right you are, Ben.
