iPhone Crop Ravaged, iFamine Sweeps Across Nation, Redux

Ten days after their arrival, the iPhone 3G is sold out at almost all of Apple’s U.S. retail stores. Of the 188 Apple (AAPL) stores in the states, just three have iPhone’s in stock. According to an online tally posted to Apple’s iPhone availability page last night, Apple’s Pleasanton, Calif., store has 16-gigabyte iPhones available in black. The company’s stores on New York’s Fifth Avenue and in the Rockingham Mall in Salem, N.H., have them available in white.

There are no 8GB iPhones to be had anywhere. Not today, anyway.

  1. Man… I was hoping to get myself a white 16gb version if I waited awhile. But now, it just turns out that its being sold out. I’m probably going to have to wait for a month or so =/

  2. This problem is not limited to the US. Mexican carrier Telcel ran out on iphones on the first day. They have no idea when the next shipment will arive.
