Well, he’s no digital native, for sure. And while I admit it is disappointing that a man so close to running our country can seem that out of touch with the modern world, I also find it surprising that he would not have prepared himself better for the question. Even if he has a staff to gather the news for him, it would be refreshing had he actually taken a few hours in the past decade or so to “go online” to gain some perspective on what the kids are doing these days. Hey, at least he’s got a cell phone.

While the technology behind the Telephone is new, the design is reassuringly old-fashioned, reminiscent of a phrenologist’s horn or ear-candle in form. We found the experience far more comfortable than the one we had with the Telegraph.
