Break out those lawn chairs and sleeping bags. According to the latest update to Apple.com, the iPhone 3G will debut at 8 a.m. in Apple (AAPL) retail stores on July 11. Those unwilling to brave potentially nasty first-day lines can check store availability of iPhone 3G here and browse some early unboxing photos here.

My beleagured portfolio has one bright spot and that is Apple. Many analysts have this stock going to $225.Could the new phone get us there, or do you think the poor economy will keep the stock under wraps? Me? I’m not standing in line. I’ll wait.
