		<description>I know of a number of large shops that are still, mostly Microsoft-only, always with the exception of running Oracle as the database.  Oracle runs on almost all hardware and almost all OSs.

MS SQL Server on the other hand is one more thing that locks you into being a truly all-MS shop.  Anyone knowingly putting their company into that position should be fired.</description>
