- Has Bell Invented the “Telegraph Killer”?
While the technology behind the Telephone is new, the design is reassuringly old-fashioned, reminiscent of a phrenologist’s horn or ear-candle in form. We found the experience far more comfortable than the one we had with the Telegraph.

The music industry is something I should be particularly pss’d at. By the third time I went to Taiwan I already articulated the idea, wow – music over there is commercial, even the American music there. Back in the US, I was happy that every once in a while I heard “that song” on the variety station. Now after going to Taiwan 7 times, and concluding with my recent trip to Beijing with Eric Schmidt, well, now google employees are freely implementing this money maker I taught them, at other businesses. This was MY idea – the whole correction to American Commercial Music, that is.
Ahh well. The good news is that in about 10 years commercial music really is going to be better here. I can pat myself on the back for that : )
