With the technological advance in mobile applications, one thing has been surely missed. As mostly every phone on the planet is linked in some way or another live to a network, nobody has yet put an “Alert Button Feature” into any mobile phone yet. The concept is to help drivers in distress, geographically pinpoint a person who is in need of medical attention, a diversionary tactic to get emergency crews to a downed aircraft or any other feasible reason why this should be added. The overall benefits would definitely help search & rescue operations and cost save Governments and the public purse immensely. If this life saving technique is not pounced upon now by developers, some other corporation will get into the act of implementing it & collecting all of the bravado that will go with it. Rather than modify existing phones, perhaps this Alert Feature can be configured through associated networks which could be just a mere download file embedded into the mobile phone’s memory bank which once activated, would certainly alert Authorities & Law Enforcement Agencies to respond quickly. There would be massive benefits to parents as most children now have their own phones and a feature as this would help enable tracking procedures to safeguard & protect children who may be left alone.
