RIAA: You’ll Get Your Money After We Sue a Few More College Students

File-sharing really has eaten away at the recording industry’s profits. It did not even pay some $68,000 in attorney’s fees it owes the Oklahoma woman whom the Recording Industry Association of America wrongly accused of piracy last year. Though a federal judge issued the fee award a month ago, the organization has failed to pay up, forcing the defendant to return to the presiding court to enter judgment (PDF), so that she can collect the money owed her.
